Nice impression on Chine appliqué, printed by A. Beillet, Paris and published by la Société Française de Gravure. Stamp 135 above the printer's name, handwritting in the lower margin : "Mohz" and numbers. 

This etching was realized after an oil on canvas by Rembrandt displayed in the museum of the Louvre, Paris (1648). A watercoloured by Claude Ferdinand Gaillard represents the same scene (cf. artcurial auction 3rd june 2015).

Plate: 490 x 430 mm.

Sheet: 722 x 550 mm.

Condition: scattered foxing in the margins and tears in the edges, wrinckles.
