Impression on laid paper, with a latin letter : "Pictura qua Domus Titi fornices exornabat, plures exhibens Genios in bigis, variosque puerorum ludos, et piscationem, ultra alias principales figuras". 

The print depicts various figures and scenes from the house of Titus, including angels in chariots bringing love and prosperity, boys playing childhood games, fishing, and other elements of Roman life.

Pietro Santo Bartoli was born in Perouse, Italy in approximately 1635 and died in Rome in 1700. He was a painter, engraver and watercolorist who studied with Nicholas Poussin.

Condition: time-staining, scattered foxing, some folds.
