Impression on wove paper, from Paris et ses Alentours... published by Firmin-Didot en 1818. 

Damame-Démartrais was apparently taught by David but is now celebrated for his drawings and aquatints. The book from which this print is from, dedicated to King Louis XVIII, was prompted by the artist's wish to record the new open vistas in Paris and its environs.

Condition: a tear skillfully restored in the lower margin, some small white scratches in the image.
