Son of the neurologist Edouard Brissaud, Pierre Brissaud is a painter, engraver and illustrator from Paris. He learned engraving with his uncle Louis-Maurice Boutet de Montvel (father of Bernard). Elegant, his work shows a certain "contemporary dandyism" (Benezit).
