A nice impression on wove paper, signed in pencil lower right of the plate.
Born in Turin, Enrico Vegtti was a printmaker who worked in woodcut and etching. Showed regularly at the Brera from 1885, he was also included in exhibitions in Rome, Florence, Munich and London. He escaped Fascist Italy and settled in France in the Upper Savoy village of Nernier.
