Impression on Japan paper, signed Hiroshige hitsu, from the series Famous Sights of the Fifty-three Stations (Gojûsan tsugi meisho zue), also known as the Vertical Tôkaidô, published by Tsutaya Kichizô (Kôeidô). Censor's seals Aratame, Hare 7. 

Sheet: ôban (365 x 235 mm.)

Reference: a proof is preserved in the MFA of Boston. 

Condition: a nice impression with margins. Small binding holes in the right edge. In the upper margin, paper thinning with two tiny tears.
